A monodrama is a theatrical performance, literary work in which a single actor or performer portrays all the characters, often through soliloquies, monologues, or interactions with imaginary characters. It's a compelling form of storytelling where one individual carries the entire narrative, showcasing their range and skill as a performer.
Rules and Regulations
It is an Individual event. Performance must consist of a single act with no blackouts.5 Minutes per participant to enactNo usage of unparliamentary words will be entertained.Participants may pick any theme of their choosing. (May either be from Hollywood/ Kollywood) Participant will be given a random number and the guest will choose the participant from the bowl of sheets randomly.Participants are allowed to wear costumes and use props at their own discretion.No props or costumes will be provided by the organising committee or college.Loss or damage to the props or costumes will not be the responsibility of the EventOrganisers or the core team or the management.No extra point shall be awarded or deducted for costumes used.Points will be awarded on basis of overall performance, which includes acting skills, script, dialogue delivery, presentation, and other.Final rating shall be decided by aggregating marks awarded by the judge.In case of any dispute, decision of the judge shall be final and conclusive.Event Incharge
