Description
Street Play is more of a louder variant of theater, usually performed in the open and in public places such as streets, malls, markets etc. And that is a challenge since unlike theater audiences which by choice have bought a ticket and have come to watch, street play targets a random audience in a busy market or a mall where people are busy with their own stuff.
Rules and Regulations
The team participating in the skit should have a minimum of 3 members and maximum of 6 membersThe team will be given 8 minutes for their performance out of which 2 minutes will be given for the stage preparationThe props, cosmetics, costumes and other stuffs should be arranged by participants, only general furniture's like table, chair will be provided by the event teamThe teams are free to select the theme /story/script of the skit.The skit may be presented either Tamil or EnglishNo vulgarity in the scenes and songs which may lead to disqualificationThe competition will be judged based on script, facial expression, and creative use of prop,stage mannerism, coordination voice modulation and overall performance.Judge's decisions are finalIn case of any dispute, decision of the organizers of the event shall be final and conclusiveEvent Incharge
